Meet the Artist:

Dex Toth

I’ve always believed creativity is something that gets passed from person to person. For me, the best part of making art isn’t just creating the work itself, it’s knowing it might inspire someone else to make something too. If something I build sparks even a small idea in another person, makes them want to paint, design, experiment, or create in their own way, then the work has done what it was meant to do. It becomes more than just an object. It becomes part of a bigger creative ripple effect.

My pieces are built as a study of movement, texture, and space. I’m drawn to the way landscapes shift and layer over time, and I wanted this work to feel almost like a memory of a place rather than a direct representation of one. The soft contours and natural materials create depth, inviting the viewer to slow down and notice the subtle details.

A lot of my work lives somewhere between sculpture and landscape. I love creating pieces that feel grounded and organic, almost like they could have been shaped by nature itself. More than anything, I want my work to create a feeling of calm, curiosity, reflection, and creativity.
