This piece feels less “built” and more uncovered. Like these wooden contours were already hiden inside the grain, waiting for someone patient enough to excavate them. The layered cuts move like canyon walls, riverbeds, and smoke trails. It has this beautiful tension between precision and wildness.
The negative space does half the storytelling. The deeper you stare into it, the more it shifts. Desert cliffs, a sleeping figure, weather patterns, ancient terrain viewed from thirty thousand feet. It’s playful and meditative at the same time, like nature decided to try minimalism for a while.
